The large enclosed garden is a lovely spot to breathe in the fresh air, and take a minute for yourself surrounded by the still ether of nature. It’s also perfect place to let your dog safely off the leash.

Torrin is a quiet crofting village on the Isle of Skye. Just a short walk away are Amy’s Place tearoom and gifts and Mrs Mack’s Wee Take-Away.

Just over 5 miles distant is the village of Broadford, where you can access a large Co-op supermarket, post office, public transport, pubs, restaurants, and cafes, many of which source fresh, local seafood. “This was our second stay at Hawthorn Dene, and it certainly won’t be our last. We really enjoyed our stay, the croft is well furnished with all you could want for a comfortable stay, and is superbly located for a quieter experience of Skye, whilst being close enough to access lots of interesting places.”

“This cottage was outstanding, with such attention to detail that a whole family could move in and not need anything but clothes! It was so well equipped and the location was perfect. We drove all around Skye and didn’t come across anywhere better to stay. When we return it will be to Hawthorne Dene!”
